( Picnic Live Season2 EP.105) IU – Dear Name

I decided to work on this song with Eena since I wanted to focus more on singing, and make a perfect song. I got a huge influence from Eena and learnt a lot. The inspiration for this song had come from a deep conversation I had with her. The voice I long for even in my dreams I call out the name but there’s no answer Only the tearful echo returns And I listen to that sound by myself Even if it’s so cold, it feels like it will break I won’t ever let go this time The hands of that day that has gotten far away Through the night that was endlessly long and thick and dark I know your wish had quietly disappeared I will patiently wait for you I will find you no matter what Even if you’re so far that i can’t see you let’s go to the place where this dawn ends The child who stands in front of me without fail Head hanging low but never cries When i sadly hold out my hands, the child runs away So I hold the empty space all alone Even if it hurts so much I won’t forget this time The words that waited so long by itself Through the night that was endlessly long and thick and dark I know your wish had gone for good I’ll wait for a long time I will find you no matter what Even when it’s so far we can’t see let’d go to the place where this dawn ends Through the cold and cruel days that were lost countless times I know your name that had silently been forgotten I will never stop I will shout out several times Even if you’re so far that i can’t believe it let’s go to the place where this dawn ends I will never stop I will shout it out loud no matter how many times it is Even when it’s so far that it’s hard to believe let’s keep going to the place where this dawn ends
