How can we make our decisions ‘stick’?

Skills bringing you another PLS Tuesday tip. Yesterday I attended a full-day
professional development experience for entrepreneurs and yeah there was a lot
of information, it was a full day and so there was a few different
speakers and there was one thing that I really wanted to share that really
resonated with me and that was around decisions and the distinction between a
decision and a commitment. So we can decide to do a lot of things – we might
decide to learn something we might decide to expand business we might
decide to start a side hustle we might decide to get fit we might decide to do
a whole lot of things and we can decide to do them and then it’s just ‘one day’
‘one day I’ll do that’. whereas the commitment brings the decision from – the
speaker Aaron Sansoni said that brings the decision from ‘one day’ to ‘day one’
because if you’re committed to it then what are you prepared to commit, what are
you prepared to do continually, what are you prepared to endure for the outcome
that you want. So yeah I just thought that was a really interesting
distinction between a decision and a commitment I think you can feel that
when you think about those two words and what that means you will do earlier and
you will do consistently you will do without question when you make a
commitment versus a decision. So I just want to share that with you thanks for
